Convert an image to PNG.
A simple lossless PNG, with transparency kept where the original has it.
1 Output
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so files can be large. Use the compressor if you need a size limit.
2 Your image
Processed in your browser. Your file stays on your device.
What it does
- Choose your image.
- We save it as PNG: every pixel exactly as decoded.
- We re-check that the output really is a PNG.
Examples
| You enter | You get |
|---|---|
| Photo.jpg | A PNG. It will be larger than the JPG, because PNG doesn’t discard detail. |
| Photo.webp with transparency | A PNG with the transparency intact. |
If it isn’t working
- The PNG is huge.
- PNG is lossless, so photos make big files. If a portal has a size limit, use JPG with Compress Image.
- A JPG becomes a PNG but isn’t sharper.
- Converting can’t add detail that a JPG already discarded.
