800 × 400 px at 200 DPI is 10 cm × 5 cm, a 2:1 shape. IBPS marks the pixel size and DPI as preferred, and the 50–100 KB range and JPG type as the firm rules.
What to write
The declaration wording is printed in your recruitment notification. We don't reproduce it here, because it is the notification's text that counts. Copy it word for word, with your own name filled in.
- In your own handwriting, in English, in black ink on white paper.
- Not in capital letters. IBPS treats a declaration in capitals, in another language, or written by someone else as invalid.
- If you can't write, the notice allows a typed declaration with your left thumb impression below it.
Photographing it
- Write it as a compact block of two or three lines. The result is a 2:1 frame, so a wide, short block fills it best.
- Lay the page flat and shoot from directly above, so the lines stay straight. Use the rotate buttons if the photo comes out sideways.
- Daylight, no shadow of your phone across the page.
What to know this cycle
- Pixel sizes are marked "preferred" in the notice. The KB range and JPG/JPEG type are what the form enforces: it will not let you continue until the photograph and signature meet the specification.
- You also capture a live photograph (webcam or phone) during the application. That one is taken in the form, not uploaded here.
- Signature and handwritten declaration must not be in capital letters.
- These numbers are identical to the June 2025 CRP PO/MT-XV guidelines. We checked both.
- The CRP PO/MT-XVI registration window (1-21 Jul 2026) has closed. Always check the notification for the recruitment you are applying to: other recruitments on the IBPS portal publish their own guidelines.
